My Story: How It All Started

My business started because I got mad at my husband.

We had two young kids, and I was working full-time. One Saturday, I had rare plans to go out, but my husband called, running late from his second job. I was irritated, even though I knew it wasn’t fair. My nervous system was already spiraling.

On a whim, I took a weighted walk, something I often recommended for kids. Just 15 minutes later, everything changed. My frustration melted, my perspective shifted, and I realized: I had just done occupational therapy on myself.

That moment sparked my curiosity, how could sensory input support my nervous system in daily life? I later saw how depleted I had been, running on empty with no "nervous system deposits." Since then, I’ve built a life of intentional regulation—more patience, kindness, presence, and joy.

This journey changed everything for me, and I want the same for you.
